The NBC Rio Olympics Primetime Set

The NBC Rio Olympics Primetime Set

My passion for sports began at a young age and like many, I grew up listening to Mike and The Mad Dog on WFAN. Upon entering Syosset High School on Long Island, I signed up to join the sports department at the student run radio station, WKWZ 88.5. I have been hosting sports talk radio shows since I was in 9th grade. I knew after my first show that I wanted to make a career in the sports media field.

In July of 2018, I was hired by SB Nation Radio as National Host on their network of affiliates. Upon being hired, I hosted my own show on the weekends and filled in for other hosts when needed. In 2019, I began hosting my own daily weekday show The Power Hour W/ Jake Asman that airs from 7-8 PM ET. I’ve also have had the opportunity to fill in host on the #1 rated sports station in Houston, ESPN 97.5.

Prior to joining SB Nation Radio, I hosted the morning show on Long Island's SportsOnTheGo1 Radio. My show was LIVE weekdays from 8AM-10AM and was heard at SportsOnTheGo1.com, TuneIn Radio, and on Facebook LIVE. In February of 2018, our show broadcasted from Super Bowl 52 Radio Row in Minneapolis. In addition to my on air role at SportsOnTheGo1, I was hired by WFAN Sports Radio/CBS Sports Radio an Associate Producer where I worked on shows both locally and nationally behind the scenes.

Prior to graduating from Ithaca College in May of 2017, I had internships at ABC 7 in NYC, Fox Sports Radio in Los Angeles, and with NBC Sports at the Rio Olympic games in the summer of 2016. I also worked part time at ESPN Ithaca as a local update anchor on the station. Each of those opportunities has helped prepare me for where I am now.
